Yesterday we discovered The Lakeland Diner for the first experience and we really enjoyed it. First the restaurant dining room is really nice and comfortable painted in blue and white. The Hostess greeted us promptly and friendly and she offered us our choice of tables. Our server greeted our table quickly and she was friendly and offered suggestions for menu items to select. We ordered Fried Green Tomatoes ($7.49),a Classic Gyro ($13.99) served with fries, Soup & Salad ($13.99) which is all you can eat. The soup of the day was Stuffed Pepper Soup, and a BLT served with fries ($9.49) which was on the lighter portion menu. The Gyro was really tasty and I could tell that it was freshly shaved and had plenty of meat. The fries were really tasty. I’m not usually that into fries but I ate all of mine. The Soup and Salad was plentiful. The salad was just the right size, colorful and fresh. We chose the Stuffed Pepper soup which smelled and looked great. It was a very mild flavor so it could use a bit more spices to plus it up. The BLT was perfect and tasty. The Fried Green To stores were probably some of the best I’ve had. In Lakeland so went to Lakeland Diner. Each time we go back they get even better. I started with the chicken rice soup which has a lovely lemon undertone - just a nice bowl of love. I wanted to try the Falafel balls - beautiful crust with a wonderful filling packed with great flavor. I had the Pork Tenderloin with brown gravy and mash potatoes and brown gravy - the pork was tender, juicy and full a flavor, then top it with this brown gravy just heavenly. My wife had this huge burger cooked perfectly. Like I said it just keeps getting better each time, can't wait for our next visit to Lakeland so we can try another something amazing.

Went to Lakeland Diner today and it was delicious!!! You can tell they take a lot of pride I. Their restaurant and the service was excellent!!! The portions were huge and everyone was so happy with their meals! By the time I started taking pics the others had already started chowing down. The coffee was nice and strong! No coffee water here. They are under new management and the menu has all day breakfast and we cannot wait to be back for lunch and dinner! If you go def get your biscuits grilled… you will not regret it!

Nice sized diner, way bigger than I thought it would be. Extremely friendly staff. The food was great and there are a bunch of items I still want to try. Can't wait to go back! I had the Greek salad with gyro meat and the omelette (I think it was a meat lovers).

What a wonderful find in Lakeland! The Lakeland diner Is a Greek inspired diner on S. Florida Ave. In two days time, my Significant Other and I had breakfast lunch and dinner at this establishment. The food was great, and the customer service was amazing! Ruby, our server had a wonderful personality and was helpful in her menu suggestions. All three meals were enjoyed immensely. Unfortunately, the only photos that I took were at lunchtime. The green salad was extraordinarily fresh. The beef Soup was super tasty and the grilled chicken sandwiches were the best that I’ve had in a while!
